Overview

GREENHOUSE@Citywalk is Sino Group’s second “Indoor Intelligent Farm” within a shopping mall. Together with award-winning tech company Farmacy HK, the farm grows 100% pesticide and chemical fertiliser-free herbs using indoor hydroponic farming machines. To further realise the “farm to table” concept, fresh herbs such as kale, rocket, basil, parsley and thyme are supplied to some Citywalk restaurants, serving as ideal ingredients for their special dishes. GREENHOUSE also partners with the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Group’s “Farm Ambassadors” team to provide green workshops and guided farm tours. The farm also works with tenants to organise environment and wellness-themed workshops, giving the community an opportunity to understand and practice hydroponic farming, as well as inject innovative technologies into their sustainable projects.
