Overview

Located at 3/F “YM²”, a public open space atop the shopping mall, the Butterfly Garden has a variety of trees and more than 50 types of flower and plant species. Fifteen of these have been specially selected, including the Asclepias curassavica, Digitalis purpurea, Pentas lanceolata, Cleome spinosa, and Ixora spp, to attract different butterflies for pollination. Part of the Urban Renewal Authority’s Kwun Tong Town Centre Project, the 3,273-sq. ft. garden has sharpened the colours of mother nature for the Kwun Tong community, providing an opportunity for residents and the community to discover biodiversity as well as the joys of plant and butterfly appreciation. It is an ideal place for visitors to indulge in both a treasure trove of natural wonders, as well as the dynamic Kwun Tong community itself.
